A diagnosis of cancer raises endless questions for patients such as Garth and their families. Why is one treatment favoured over another? Will cancer treatment affect my self-esteem? Relationships with others? Should I quit work? Will I need help at home? What happens next? The new Patient and Family Support Centre will offer relevant, accurate and timely answers, and an opportunity for patients to discuss their deepest concerns through individual counselling and support groups.
